VENICE PAVILION BIENNALE GARDENS EXHIBITION
Le Stanze del Tempo Ritrovato are four isometric architecture rooms that showcase a visual story about solitude, hope and rebirth, experienced during lockdown 2020. The artworks were exhibited at Venice Pavilion in Biennale Gardens for the Architecture Biennale of Venice 2021.
The project is developed in 4 phases: waiting, isolation, hope and back to love.
The waiting room is a reference to Dalì’s paintings, with the melting clocks from The Persistence of Memory and the young woman at the window. The isolation is depicted in Van Gogh's Arles room showing the sorrowing old man. The hope room with the girl looking outside her window, is inspired by Hopper’s Morning Sun. The back to love room ends the project journey with Magritte's famous kiss from Les Amants.
A visual story about time, loneliness, resilience and redemption through love. READ THE INTERVIEW.
